Let’s now take a quick fishing break in sunny Fort Lauderdale Florida.
Phil:
“Hello Sunny” with the beast in the background.
David:
We’re back, and we’re aboard the Coastal Yacht Tours.
Phil:
You may ask yourself how do they end up on the yacht?
David:
Fort Lauderdale is the Venice of America except here instead of gondolas ruling the waters the beautiful yachts take center stage, so Phil and I decided we just had to take part in the action. If you can’t buy one – rent one from Coastal Yacht Tours.
Phil:
This is a pleasure for me right now to be sitting with Jason Slater, he is the captain of
Mistress 27. Tell me about it.
Jason:
it’s 69 feet overall, it’s a luxury yacht as you can see. There’s three staterooms. There’s a king bed in one stateroom in a queen bed in another, there’s a master which has got His and Hers bathroom, it’s a full kitchen, and we give daily tours, private tours to groups up to 12.
So if you had 12 people you can split the cost or just two people. We do a lot of couples and we do discounts for couples.
This is the yachting capital of the world so we go around and show people the mansions and all the yachts.
Phil:
Now for people that might not think “I’m not a rockstar, I can’t afford to be on the yacht”, you told me that’s not true
Jason:
We have a budget for everybody whether you want five-star dining with a chef or just something simple sand drinks and the appetizers. 11 of your friends, the views, the houses and the yachts and the ocean and the beach and the fishing the great place to live
Phil:
So Jason you’re the captain, but do you do all this by yourself?
Jason:
No I have Tina she’s my first mate in stewardess, she unties all the lines she serves all the drinks she makes everyone feel right at home
Most people think they can’t afford this and this is the yachting capital of the world so everyone wants to go on a yacht and experience it. And we try to give that opportunity to everybody.
David:
Beautiful yachts, beautiful homes and some famous people’s places also.
Tina:
Yeah. Quite a few.

David:
We shot today, we saw Spielberg’s yacht today just to name a couple
Tina:
Rockstar’s yacht was in town yesterday so we might have today. You never know who’s yacht you’re gonna see and whose you won’t. This “Bottom Line” yacht over here was formerly “Evel Knievel’s”
David:
