The decision that matters
An intimate yacht day or a larger floating venue?
A wedding reception and a birthday cruise can both happen on the water, but they ask very different things of a yacht. Start with your guest list, dining plans and event schedule.

Where Coastal fits
Keep the celebration on the right scale.
For a close-knit gathering, consider whether your guests want to mingle around a salon and enjoy the passing waterfront, or sit down for a structured reception with speeches and dancing. Those are different briefs. Coastal’s Marquis 690 accommodates up to 20, making it an option when your plan centers on one private group enjoying a shorter cruise.

When to look more closely at Sun Dream Yacht Charters.
Sun Dream merits a closer look for a reception or company event that needs substantially more guest capacity. Its published fleet and catering offer are geared toward event planning. Request the actual vessel and dining configuration in the proposal.
Bring these questions to your quote
Make your proposal specific.
Does the seated dining capacity differ from the cruising capacity?
How much of the charter is allocated to dining, speeches and boarding?
Which catering, bar and event staffing charges are included?
Ask both operators for the same date, guest count and duration. Compare the complete price, not unmatched starting rates.
A question worth asking.
Is a larger event yacht necessary for 20 people?
Not necessarily. Think about the format as well as the head count. A formal dinner with production requirements has different space needs from a relaxed private cruise. Compare layouts and a written event plan before deciding.
How do I request a Coastal Yacht Tours quote?
